I saved a ton with coupons!
We go on a major grocery shop (buying lots of non-perishable staples) every few months. I try to save up coupons, so I can get a good discount. We shopped at Target yesterday and I saved over $200! Our Target does not double or triple coupons, either.
As you can imagine, I had a STACK of coupons. If looks could kill, the lady behind me in line would have killed me for sure. At least 1/3 of the coupons were from Snazzywin (either coupons that I had won, printed from the freebies page, or coupons that came with the free samples.) About 2/3 of the coupons were from the newspaper. As I watched my total continue to plummet, I felt clever and actually felt bad for the woman behind me in line because I could tell she had no coupons. She’s losing money on every shop!
I know that a lot of people here use coupons. How much do you typically save with coupons? Know of any hot tips for acquiring and using coupons? Please share.
I love all the coupons I get from Snazzywin. I was lucky enough to be one in a million on Victoria’s Secret Facebook sign-up. I got my coupon for the FREE Pink Tee shirt $22.50 value and another coupon to get a Pink V-Neck T-Shirt Dress for $10.00 value $19.50. I also had another coupon on the new Pink Pretty & Pure fragrance & body lotion for $10.00 value $22.00. Thats a savings of $42.50 WOW! On the way home I stopped at the grocery store and used my coupon for the Land O Frost Ham, buy one get one free, and made myself a sandwich when I got home. Now that was a great shopping day!
